THIS MAGNOLIA HAS A STORY
One magnolia blossom cups a sunbeam in her pale pink petals and scatters it across a cloudless sky. She’s been playing this game for a very long time — catching light, letting it go, catching it again. Magnolias are ancient. They evolved before bees existed, pollinated by beetles, which makes them one of the oldest flowering forms still in bloom. A hundred million springs of chasing sunbeams, and she still plays like it’s the first morning the world ever made. That’s the wonder of her. Something this old acting so young — delighting in the light as if it were invented just for her. May wonder never cease.
ROOM SUGGESTION
A kitchen, sunroom, or entryway that gets good light — backlit in blue, it wakes up a bright space and trades on the daylight already there.
FINISHES & SIZING
This piece comes in three curated sizes and three museum-quality finishes. Metal is my signature recommendation — it holds the depth, light, and dimensional clarity of the original encounter. Acrylic pushes further into luminous, high-impact territory for a true statement piece. And pearl finish photo paper adds a soft, pearlescent shimmer unique among archival papers — beautiful framed under glass.
