Brúarfoss, or Bridge Falls, is a relatively small Icelandic waterfall, comparatively speaking, but Its staggering beauty makes it one of the country’s top hidden gems. The Brúara River cascades down 9 feet into a deep crevice that runs through the center of a U-shaped volcanic rock formation. This creates sky-blue rapids, often earning Brúarfoss notoriety as "Iceland’s bluest waterfall." Having hiked in light, I took this shot using the bridge as my tripod.
